Alvin (and Mom and Dad) went out to see the neighbors and do a little trick-or-treating last night. He seemed to get the concept pretty quickly but once he had two pieces of candy (one for each hand) he was content to just run around and talk to the other kids who were out in the neighborhood.
We had a chance to take Alvin to the apple orchard/cider mill down the road recently. He was very interested in the animals that lived there and he loved taking a ride on the train with Mommy (not a real train but close enough). We also got to pick out pumpkins and eat freshly made doughnuts (Mom and Dad ate most of them). Alvin walked all over the place like the big kids that were there and he slept well that night as a result.
I'm not sure how well this will work but I thought we would try a new trick on the blog... video!!! The picture is pretty bad due to lack of light (and a camera person who hasn't figured out all of the bells and whistles on the new video camera). Regardless, give it a try and we will see how well it works.
Alvin has been walking pretty good for the last few weeks so we thought it would be fun to show everyone his progress. Good news - he is learning to catch himself and avoid any major crashes. Bad news - he is really mobile now with the walking and crawling so Mom and Dad can't look away for long without wondering where he went. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing great and look forward to seeing/talking to everyone soon...
