This weekend Uncle Matt, Aunt Kelli and Aaron came over to spend the night and hang out... Alvin has learned that he isn't a big fan of sharing his toys yet but Aaron was a good sport and brought some of his own.

Bathtime is getting more entertaining... He has learned that splashing Mommy is really fun and now you can all see what he looks like when his hair is under control (which is rare).

A lot has happened since our last update so here comes a bunch of photos...

First, Alvin had a rough time while Dad was out of town for work. He was coughing pretty bad and the Dr. wasn't sure if he was experiencing minor symptoms of asthma or just a little case of bronchitis. Either way, he needed some breathing treatments for about a week. Fortunately, Grandma Lauer and Aunt Katie were coming to visit so Mommy had some extra help...

Looks like he was up working late again. Notice the training binders on the desk in the background... Time to step it up and bring some productivity to this organization.

Posing in the North Carolina Tarheels sweater from Deb and Mark...

Here are a couple shots of Alvin in his PJs hanging out with Molly...

Go Blue!!!

We had Dad, Jamie, Christy, Austin and Ashley over to the house the other day for dinner (and a friendly dart competition). Alvin was pretty happy to see everyone and apparently playing with Uncle Jamie is tiring because he fell asleep twice while Jamie was holding him.

And in case anyone is wondering who won the dart game... Sorry Dad and Jamie, Christy and I will take it easy on you next time.

The boy sure likes hanging out with TJ Bearytales.
"Bartender... another round of formula and perhaps some applesauce or peaches for my friend here."

Grandma and Granpa Lauer came by the house a while back to deliver Alvin's new toy chest. Grandpa made it himself and was able to match the stain to the rest of the bedroom furniture. As you can see, Alvin is pretty impressed (so is his father) and we all appreciate the time and effort spent to make this special chest for our new home. THANKS GRANDPA!

So... after my new golf clubs arrived recently, Alvin got his hands on one of my hats. Apparently he is ready to hit the links and I can always use another excuse to play golf... Spring can't get here fast enough!

Well, at last I have a few minutes to include some pictures from the last Christmas party of the season. Grandma and Grandpa Ainslie came over at the end of December to hang out and throw some wrapping paper around the living room. As you can guess, Alvin is getting better at opening presents and no matter what is inside he seems pretty happy. We were all glad that Grandma and Grandpa could make it over and back safely with all of the snow that we have been hit with. I hope they enjoyed their gifts as much as we did (thanks again for the U of M table... it is getting a lot of compliments). Best wishes to everyone as we get 2008 underway.
